Rotimi Akeredolu has joined a long list of high profile Nigerians who have been infected by the virus.
The Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Akeredolu who has begun self-isolation made this known on Tuesday via his Twitter handle.
The Ondo Governor, who is set to contest the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state, narrated how he went for the test after falling ill with malaria some days ago.
With this development, Akeredolu joins the growing list of Governors who have been infected by the virus.
